This year’s selection process, designed to highlight excellence in global competitiveness, combined nominations from 18 international procurement experts and 15 recommendation officers from leading lighting supply chain companies. A final review panel of 18 authoritative experts across the lighting industry conducted a rigorous multi-dimensional evaluation of 304 candidate enterprises on May 16, ultimately selecting the top exporters in each specialized product category through voting and discussions.

Significant improvements in award categories, selection mechanisms, and participant diversity have enhanced the ranking’s professionalism and credibility, offering Chinese lighting enterprises a critical roadmap for global market engagement.

• New Category: Outdoor Landscape Lighting – Addressing rising global demand for China’s high-end landscape fixtures in urban and cultural tourism projects.
• Expanded Categories: Linear Lighting and Portable Lighting – Broader criteria now cover diverse application scenarios.

Judges emphasized that these adjustments not only showcase China’s technological innovation but also demonstrate forward-looking insights into international market trends. Future editions will expand into smart lighting, agricultural lighting, and health-focused lighting.

A groundbreaking “Upstream Recommendation Officer” system was introduced, with nominations from 15 top-tier supply chain companies specializing in packaging, power supplies, and components. These experts provided insights on technical compatibility, product stability, procurement scale, and growth potential, ensuring a balanced focus on quality over scale and fostering industry chain synergy. Judges praised the mechanism for elevating the credibility of shortlisted enterprises and aligning results with real-world market performance.
